Description

Mikon® 399 MC is a specially designed surface sealer for porous surfaces to seal them with a high gloss finish. The sealing impresses with its simple application. If handled properly, you neither have to sand nor to polish.

Application Fields: Sealing of porous surfaces, specifically block materials, MDF etc.

Application: Mikon® 399MC is ready-to-use and should not to be diluted. The surface which has to be sealed must be absolutely dustfree and free of grease residue . Optimal results are obtained by rubbing with a suitable lintfree cotton cloth. Depending on the porosity of the surface it must be continued until the best results will be achieved. (Normally   2  coatings with an eventually sanding with an abrasive fleece are sufficient). For a high-gloss surface we recommend a final paintwork with a spray gun. We recommend a spray gun  nozzle of 0,5 mm diameter at 1-1,5 bar (each with a drying time of approx. 5-10 minutes at room temperature of minimum 20°C). Too much layer thickness maybe evoke cracking. We strongly recommend a subsequent semi-permanent release agent coating with our products of the Mikon® series, water- or solvent-based.

Cleaning the gun / brush etc.: are suitable for cleaning of even liquid residues: NC solvent, universal thinner, solvent naphtha. Cured Mikon 399MC can only be mechanically cleaned / removed.
