400 gsm Biaxial Carbon Fabric C-PLY™ BX 400 C3,4 24K HS FOE (SPOT), 127 cm

400 g/m2 biaxial carbon fabric for high performance applications where high strength and low weight are required. Produced with two 200 g/m2 layers of unidirectional fabric, oriented at +45° and -45°. Suitable for manufacturing of composite parts and tools with epoxy, urethane-acrylate or vinyl ester resins by hand lay-up, infusion or RTM.

Yarn Type: 24K (24,000 filaments per strand of yarn).

Roll width: 127 cm.

SPOT reinforcements are fibres that come from overproduction of some of the highest quality materials or that may present small quality defects, which do not significantly affect the manufacture of the composite. Among the small defects in these fabrics we can mention these: a missing fibre yarn or a small crease in the fabric. They are always small imperfections or even negligible. The lower price more than compensates for the minor defects that may be present in these fibres/fabrics.
