Biaxial Carbon Fabric +45/-45º, 50 K of 300 g/m2 SPOT

300 g/m2 biaxial carbon fabric for high performance applications where high strength and low weight are required. Produced with two 150 g/m2 layers of unidirectional fabric, oriented at +45° and -45°. Suitable for manufacturing of composite parts and tools with epoxy, urethane-acrylate or vinyl ester resins by hand lay-up, infusion or RTM.

Yarn Type: 50K (50000 filaments per strand of yarn).

Roll width: 127 cm.

This fabric is recommended for pieces where the geometry is not very complex, as the polyester felt on the inside makes it slightly stiffer.

SPOT reinforcements are fibres that come from overproduction of some of the highest quality materials or that may present small quality defects, which do not significantly affect the manufacture of the composite. Among the small defects in these fabrics we can mention these: a missing fibre yarn or a small crease in the fabric. They are always small imperfections or even negligible. The lower price more than compensates for the minor defects that may be present in these fibres/fabrics.
