Pourable, addition-curing, FOOD GRADE two-component silicone rubber that vulcanizes at room temperature. Cures without undergoing dimensional shrinkage.

  • Shore A Hardness (approx 28).
  • Fast non-shrink cure which can be accelerated considerably by the application of heat.
  • Excellent long-term stability of the mechanical properties of the cured rubber.
  • High tear strength and elongtion at break.
  • Outstanding resistance to casting resins.

Mixing ratio by weight: 9:1

Gel time at 23 °C: 90 minutes.

Elastosil M 4601 A/B is suitable for casting of resins and all other common reproduction materials, particularly if absolutely accurate copies of models with pronounced undercuts are required.
