Sphere.core SBC IP is a pre-compressed, stitch-bonded glass fibre material which is volumised through embedded thermoplastic microspheres. Sphere.core SBC IP is amended with an additional polypropylene core (flow medium). It is suitable for the production of stable and, at the same time, light homogeneous laminates. An ideal material for sandwich laminates.This product is available in thicknesses of 6 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm and is combined with glass layers (fabric, textile or glass mats) on the outsides. The resin impregnation, also that of the additional glass layers, takes place via the flow medium in the middle.
Suitable for the production of stable, homegeneous and lightweight laminates in combination with any thermosetting resin: polyester, vinyl ester, urethane-acrylic (Crestapol) and epoxies.
