The Woven polyester fabric type Diolen fibers are of high tenacity, for the manufacture of pieces of composite imitation carbon seen.
Ideal for working with any resin type thermosetting transparent, as the epoxy Resoltech 1070/1074 or 1070/1077, polyester resin Recapoli 2196 or urethane-acrylic Crestapol 1250LVE, in order to manufacture parts with great properties of elongation at break, excellent resistance to abrasion and affordable price. Very popular for the manufacture of kayaks, canoes, jet-skis, life boats and many other vessels in which the impact resistance and abrasion resistance are important, but the cost of material is also key.

When the tissues of Diolen are used in boats is combined with glass fiber (mats of chopped strands or woven) to provide the necessary impact resistance to a laminate that would otherwise be too brittle and vulnerable if the manufacturer is just glass.

It is used in lamination processes handbook, compaction, vacuum, infusion and RTM.

It is a material difficult to cut, even frustrating, due to its high resistance to elongation at break and abrasion

The tools of traditional court tend to leave edges of piece furry that subsequently tend to be removed using a fine sandpaper. After an initial cut using a type tool Proxxon with a blade of circular cut, the fibers of Diolen loose can be removed by using a cutter of quality.
