300 gsm Biaxial Carbon +-45º C-PLY™ SP BX 300 C2,5 24K T800S (epo0xy binder fixation), width 125 cm (SPOT)

300 g/m2 biaxial carbon fabric for high performance applications where high strength and low weight are required. Produced with two 150 g/m2 layers of unidirectional fabric, oriented at +45° and -45°. It is produced with an epoxy powder fixation on one side of the fabric. Suitable for manufacturing of composite parts and tools with epoxy resins by hand lay-up, infusion or RTM.

C-PLY™ is a range of multiaxial carbon reinforcement (Non Crimp Fabric or NCF) developed using the most advanced technology and tow spreading process.

C-PLY™ SP BX 300 T2,5 24 K is a 300 gsm biaxial spread-tow carbon NCF, +45°/-45°, 150 gsm/ply.
It is made using Toray 24K T800S carbon fibre.
The carbon fibre spreading process enables the manufacture of lightweight plies combined using a tricot stitch.

SPOT reinforcements are fibres that come from overproduction of some of the highest quality materials or that may present small quality defects, which do not significantly affect the manufacture of the composite. Among the small defects in these fabrics we can mention these: a missing fibre yarn or a small crease in the fabric. They are always small imperfections or even negligible. The lower price more than compensates for the minor defects that may be present in these fibres/fabrics.
