30 g/m2 Light Weight C-Glass Surface Veil

Our glass surface veil is suitable for a broad range of applications and is ideal for use in composites. The material offers an extensive range of properties including corrosion resistance, high thermal stability, excellent resin uptake, dielectric and even fibre distribution. It is compatible with all major composite fabrication techniques and can be used with most common styrene based resin systems.

Normally used as the first layer of reinforcement onto a gel coat in order to avoid the print-through.

The emulsion binder is designed to be soluble in polyester, urethane acrylate and vinylester resin but given the very light weight of the cloth, this veil can also be used, albeit slightly less satisfactorily, with epoxy resin when necessary.

This veils are also used the get smoother surface finish on hand-layup composite parts or refurbishing laminates by using it as the final layer.

Compatible with epoxy resins.
