3M™ Scotch-Weld ™ Epoxy Adhesive DP490 Black-50 ml

DP490 is a black, thixotropic, gap filling two component epoxy adhesive with particularly good application characteristics.

It is designed for use where toughness and high strength are required and shows special benefits in the construction of composite assemblies. The product has excellent heat and environmental resistance.

• Cures at room temperature; cure rate may be accelerated by the application of mild heat.
• 163-minute work life allows sufficient time for re-positioning. Work life is the time allowed after applying adhesive to one substrate before bond must be closed and fixed in place.
• Convenient 2:1 mix ratio.
• Mixed adhesive is low flow for ease of application.
• High strength to withstand demanding conditions.
• Non-sag for easy application to vertical surfaces.
• Bonds difficult surfaces such as powder coats and many plastics.
• Toughened epoxy system with good elevated temperature resistance. Service temperatura between -55 and + 120 ºC.
• Suitable for composite assemblies.
